Trichome

The resin production glands of the cannabis plant. In Greek the word means “growth of hair.”  While these sticky protrusions can make plants appear hairy, they are not hairs, nor are they “crystals,” which is how they are often described. Trichomes are the part of the plant that contain most cannabinoids. THC, CBD and other cannabinoids are all produced in these glands.
