Cannabinoids

Chemicals that influence cell receptors in the brain and body and can change how those cells behave. The term is used to refer to those molecules that are found in the cannabis plant and/or that interact with cannabinoid receptors, as well as their derivatives, and the transformation products of those molecules. They can be classified as phytocannabinoids, endocannabinoids, or synthetic cannabinoids.
